Board Candidates

Five of the present Board members, namely Mihaela Nita, Daiva Sniukaite, Micaela Notarangelo, Dinka Baric, Joke Muyldermans, accepted to stay for another term, to continue the work and bring continuity to the Board.

Christina Law-McLean and Maria Enrica Bettinelli are leaving the Board, and we thank them for their appreciated service.

The following Elacta memebers has put themselves forward for becoming new Board members. The General Assembly is called on to vote for them.

Anne Christine Manawa Nougho

Motivation to join ELACTA Board:
My vision is that all mothers in the world who can breastfeed effectivly breastfeed. Working in ELACTA Board will give me the opportunity to strengthen the IBCLC  Position around the world and to expand my professional international Network.

Competences and qualifications brought to the Board:
I´m IBCLC with additional scientific Knowledges, organisational and team working competencies, multucultural and multlingual skills

Professional education: I have completed my formal education with a PhD in Philosophy in 2012 and have, since, done various courses to enrich my skills: IBCLC, Nutrition Technician, Training of Trainters, Project Evaluator, Entrepreneurial Competencies, Structural and Cohesion European Funds Accession Expert, Communication

Motivation to join ELACTA Board:
I am new as an IBCLC, but I can bring to ELACTA’s Board my experience in the communication field, in managing high-impact projects with complex activities, varied professionals and scarce financial resources. I can put my organizational skills to good use, to raise awareness of the IBCLC profession in Europe. I wish for a more homogenous ELACTA, where IBCLCs all over Europe are more connected, proudly work with their credential and are part of all major structures dealing with breastfeeding.
